Bengal beat Odisha by 29 runs in a first-round one-day match of the East Zone Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-19 Tournament at Guwahati today. Electing to bat, Bengal rode on a half-century by opener A Keshari and his 81-run partnership for the second wicket with A Easwaran to make a competitive total of 194. Raj Kishan Patel was the most successful Odisha bowler, picking up three wickets for 44 runs. In reply, Odisha folded up for 165 in 44.2 overs. Pratik Das the top scorer for Odisha with 36 runs.
